TIS Yom HaShoah Commemoration

Wednesday, April 11th, 5:15 p.m.

On Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) we invite all of our members and friends to join us for a special and meaningful opportunity to recall and remember those who were lost in the Holocaust.

The event will begin with a brief film, The Number on My Grandfather’s Arm, followed by a presentation by TIS President Dr. Seth Krosner who will share his story of finding, purchasing, and eventually bringing back a Torah scroll that he discovered in a Polish antique store in 2004. We’ll conclude with a candle lighting to remember those who perished in the Holocaust.

Everyone is encouraged to join us at TIS, along with older students from our Torah School.
