WE ARE SO EXCITED!                                         Support Us

Rob Weber and his family were members of TIS many years ago. Rob had his Bar Mitzvah on the bimah at Tifereth Israel, and his family took away many very happy memories from their time here. Rob lost his sister, Michele, at a very young age. Michele played on this very playground, and the memories she had of Tifereth Israel made a huge impression on her and her whole family. Rob and his wife Lori, had a desire to give something back to Tifereth Israel in honor of Michele and as a way to preserve her memory. Naturally, the playground was the first thing that came to Rabbi Dorsch’s mind, and the family felt it was the most appropriate donation they could imagine.

Rob and Lori have generously agreed to a 2:1 match of whatever is raised to help support the process, up to $80,000. We have a goal of raising $40,000 on our own, and that combined with the generous donation from the Weber family will allow us a great deal of possibilities for our outdoor area. We will be gratefully accepting donations at set amounts for which an engraved tile will be placed on our updated playground area as a way to acknowledge the generosity of our community and their contributions. You are also welcome to make a pledge IN ANY OTHER AMOUNT toward the playground renewal, as we will gratefully accept any donation.

Just like Michele, many of our own family members have made beautiful memories on our playground, in our schools, or at Tifereth Israel in general. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of this memory.
