Religious Services – Join Us Virtually and In-Person

Religious Services and Programs During COVID-19

In-Person Services Update

As promised, we are continuing to re-evaluate the way in which Tifereth Israel responds to COVID-19. As a result of new CDC, California, and County guidelines, and in accordance with recommendations from the TIS Medical Committee, we would like to announce the following changes that will take effect beginning Saturday, August 28th:

Beginning Monday, June 28th, we will require a physical minyan (ten participants) to be present in the prayer space in order to say Dvarim Bikdishah, including Mourners' Kaddish, as part of our services.

All of our daily services will continue to be accessible on Zoom and our Shabbat Services will be accessible on LiveStream. For those who are unable to join us in person, you may still fulfill your obligation to recite Mourner’s Kaddish, however we will no longer be able to count you towards our physical minyan.
