TIS Takes Pride at San Diego’s Pride Parade
Saturday, July 16th, 10:00 a.m.

TIS will again march in the annual San Diego Pride Parade. This year’s theme, Justice with Joy, should be interpreted as you see fit. Participation in the event is a show of support and alliance to members of the LGBTQIA+ community. This is the largest single-day civic event in San Diego.

Be part of the TIS Contingent:

This year the gathering anticipates more than 260 contingents and over 200,000 spectators to attend! Participants experience a true sense of community, excitement, and camaraderie. While no RSVP is necessary, we would love to know if you'll be joining us. Email us and let us know.

Timing: The parade officially begins at 10:00 a.m., SHARP. It will start at University Avenue and Normal Street and continues for just over one mile. The route concludes at Quince Street and Balboa Drive.

Parking: Parking can be a nightmare! Never fear, there are free shuttle buses from parking lot at the Old Naval Hospital on Park Blvd. and President’s Way beginning at 7:00 a.m. which will take you close to the beginning of the parade. More details are at www.sdpride.org/parking.

Where will TIS be in the Parade?

Here are some details regarding TIS space at the Parade.
