Niggun & Nosh – 6/23

Led by Debbie Mishek
Thursday, June 23rd, 7:15 p.m.

Please note, on June 9th, 16th, and 23rd Cantor Leberman will join us at TIS.

Have you ever walked into Shabbat services and felt uncomfortable because you did not know the prayers? Let’s learn together!

We will start each gathering with a niggun which is a prayer without words. Each time we meet, we will look at one or two prayers from the service. We will learn the traditional melody as well as a new melody for each. We will also discuss the meaning of the prayers, how they can help us spiritually and how they can connect us with God and each other.

Of course, there will be treats!

These gatherings will be held in a private home, near Tifereth Israel. All participants will be masked. Please contact the office for the address. You may call 619 697-6001 or send us an email.

Please note, there is always a risk of contracting Covid associated with attending any in-person service or event.

Don't miss out! Stay up to date with the latest happenings at our synagogue.
