Cook it Forward

Sunday, January 20th, 6:00 p.m.

Cooking with love provides food for the soul.

Sometimes a warm meal, cooked with love, is just what is needed. In the coming months, TIS members and friends will gather in the TIS kitchen to prepare food to have on-hand to share with our members and friends in their time of need. Whether it’s a joyous occasion or a time of great challenge, we want to be ready.

On this evening, we’ll prepare trays of lasagna for future use. Kitchen space is limited so we do ask that you let us know you’ll be joining us. All participants must have a current Food Handler’s test on file at TIS. If you have not yet taken the test, you must do so by January 15th. Please contact the office to make arrangements.

Cooking’s not your thing but you want to help? No problem, make a donation and be sure to indicate that it is for “Cook it Forward” and we’ll use the funds to purchase ingredients, containers, etc.

For more details, or to let us know you’ll be there, you may call or email Beth Klareich, Program Director.

Don’t miss out! Stay up to date with the latest happenings at our synagogue. Join Our Mailing List
