Butterfly Project Installation
& Dedication
Sunday, September 16th, 9:45 a.m.
Our event in April was a moving community wide call to action through the arts and education known as the Butterfly Project. Ceramic butterflies were painted to represent the children who perished in the Holocaust. Many people who joined us, and many who could not, have continued creating these memorable pieces and we’re eager and ready to bring them all together in a permanent installation at TIS. In addition, we’ll be able to add more butterflies for years to come.
We invite everyone to join us as we dedicate the installation on what is also the first day of Torah School for this year. You will not want to miss this moving opportunity to be a part of history at Tifereth Israel as well as being a part of something larger than ourselves.
