Blood Drive at TIS – 11/8

Tifereth Israel Synagogue Blood Drive
Wednesday, November 8th, 12:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Your Help is Needed During the Current National Blood Crisis

The Red Cross is experiencing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. The dangerously low blood supply levels have forced some hospitals to defer patients from major surgery, including organ transplants. Your donation is desperately needed.

We invite you to participate in this act of chesed (an act of loving kindness) and give the gift of life. The San Diego Blood Mobile will be set up in our parking lot, fully equipped and ready to take your donation.

Make an appointment

Those who wish to participate may make an appointment by clicking here. Walk-ins will be accepted as time permits.

If this is your first time donating please review our FAQs.

Please read all COVID-19 blood donation restrictions related to symptoms, exposure, vaccinations, masks and travel outside California here.

Our pint goal is 18. Help us reach and exceed our goal! All donors will receive a Comic Con blood drive t-shirt.

Please arrive hydrated.

Visit the San Diego Blood Bank website for up-to-date information related to blood donation and COVID-19, including safety measures and exposure deferrals, etc.

TIS has an account at the Blood Bank
