Thursday, March 25th, 7:00 p.m.
The act of searching for Chametz helps up prepare ourselves, and our homes, for the Passover Holiday. Chametz can physically and spiritually represent many different things that we wish to rid ourselves of before the Passover holiday begins. All TIS member households have received a mailing that has all the “tools” you’ll need to search for chametz. (You provide your own chametz!)
Everyone is invited to join us as chametz detectives! In addition to finding the chametz in your home, you’ll be able to participate in our holiday trivia. Teams (a party of 1 or more) will be able to compete for points during the event. The winning team will receive a prize!

Be sure to sign-up by Wednesday, March 24th. When you register, you’ll be asked to register your team name. This is your first opportunity to earn points! Be sure to choose a creative team name with a focus on the holiday. Click here to register!
Forgot to pre-register? No problem (except for those points!). Zoom in and start searching and competing!

What you’ll need on this night:
- Be sure to have 10 small, but not too small, pieces of chametz (bread, crackers, cookies, etc.) hidden.
- Get out the tools that you received from TIS; feather, candle, wooden spoon, and blessings.
- Pad of paper or many pieces of paper, large enough to write on and hold up to the screen.
- An open heart for fun, creativity, and a dash of silliness!
