Published since 1948, The Shofar is the Voice of Tifereth Israel Synagogue. Its high quality has been recognized by United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism who presented it a regional Solomon Schechter Gold Award in 2005 and a national Solomon Schechter Silver Award in 2007 for excellence in synagogue programming.
