The monthly Shabbat service YOU should attend …
A Taste of Shabbat will now precede our monthly Midrash Shabbat Lunch and Learn. The abbreviated service with a focus on shared learning allows you to become more comfortable with, more understanding of and more involved with the service. With each gathering, you will be surprised by the mysteries that will unfold. We’ll begin at 10:00 a.m., half an hour later than our usual start time.
This Shabbat is also Veteran’s Day. We invite our veterans, those who served in either the U.S. or Israel military, yo join us for a special aliyah. In addition, a special prayer for the armed forces will be recited. If you are a veteran, please let our office know you’ll be joining us.
Midrash Shabbat hosts a Kiddush Luncheon and inspiring learning that is expert-led and interactive. Topics are varied and offer a broad spectrum of subjects. In addition to Rabbi Dorsch, Midrash Shabbat has hosted a variety of local and national educators, authors and scholars.
You will walk away from a Taste of Shabbat/Midrash Shabbat program feeling glad that you attended and you might even make some new friends.
